The Lady Rebels beat Greenwood 64-59. Lady Rebels welcome the next generation of basketball stars Wednesday night as they host "Junior Rebel Night". A very balanced team win shows depth and resolve. Ellie Bischoff came out firing in the first quarter with back to back 3 point shots. Ellie wasn’t finished as she dropped a few more long range triples to widen the lead. Lauren Fey and Rachel Titzer were clutch with critical rebounds and big free throws. Paige Saylor was all over the court reeking havoc with her up tempo play. Daesjah Ely and Katelyn McClary collected rebounds consistently all night to enable many second chance shots. Excellent overall team win.

Coach Stan Benge - “That was an outstanding effort tonight, we know how to do it, now lets sustain it from here”.

The lady Rebels were pressing from the tipoff and the Hornets had no answer whatsoever. Paige Saylor was lightening fast, disrupting every inbounds she could get her hands on. Daesjah Ely could not be stopped in the paint. She also added a bevy of points and boards (along with a few blocks) to balance out her wonderful performance. Lindsey Corsaro steadily drained shot after shot which took the Hornets out of the contest early and they never recovered. Lady Rebels dominate 80 – 35.
