2010 Preview
The 2010 Girls' Cross Country Team enters the season looking to build upon recent success. After qualifying for the Semi-State for just the second time in school history in 2007, the girls have advanced to the semi-State round in each of the past three seasons. This year's team has potential to be very competitive in every meet throughout the season as well as place high in the super competitive Carmel Semi-State as six girls return from last year's varsity team, five of whom have personal best times that rank inside of the school's all time top twenty cross country performances. Junior Kaitie Schultheis returns as the team's #1 runner and she will be pushed by a tight pack of runners separated by just a few seconds. This pack is made up of Sr. Sara Foresman, Jr. Cassie Schultheis and Sophs. Abby Pongracz, Elise Jahnke and Jessica Irmer. Two newcomers to the team, Sr. Keagin Green and Soph. Mary Kate Allen should push Sr. Kate Schutte and Soph. Mandy Feagans for the final varsity spot.
