2007 Girls' Golf Season Review
The Lady Rebels finished off an exciting season by placing a school best tie for 5th at the state tournament. The overall season was a tremendous success with a 2nd place finish in the County Tournament followed by a repeat Sectional Championship - the 4th in 5 years. For senior Kailey Jacob, she was a part of three Sectional Championships and three visits to the State Finals. Kailey's leadership this season propelled the team to the most successful in school history.
Many Lady Rebels contributed to this successful season. Kailey, along with fellow senior Kristina Mitchell, junior Erin Buckley, sophomore Lindsey Jacob and freshman Jamie Caylor all earned All-County with their performances. Jamie led the team with a 77.5 scoring average this season, followed by Kailey and Erin with a 79 scoring average. Kailey was selected MVP, and senior Abby Clemens was selected Mental Attitude recipient.
Thanks to all the ladies most especially seniors, Abby Clemens, Kelsey Feldman, Tricia Schutz, Maggie Stephon, Kailey Jacob and Kristina Mitchell for their dedication and support.
