2009 Review

The Lady Rebel Volleyball Team ended the season 23-10. The ladies earned several wins right off the bat early in the season beating Carmel, North Central, Cathedral, Warren Central, Cardinal Ritter and Martinsville. The team won the Providence Tourney, and the Lady Rebels beat Boonville, Jasper, Providence and then New Castle in the Championship Game. After a couple tough losses in September, the Rebels came back to beat Franklin Central, Perry Meridian, Lafayette Central Catholic and Center Grove. County action arrived, and the Rebels beat Franklin Central, Southport in the 2nd round but lost to Brebeuf in the semi-final round. With wins over Scecina and Southport, the ladies rolled into Sectionals. First off the team beat Northwest but lost to Brebeuf again in Sectional finals.

Members of the team were named to The Indianapolis Star All County Team including Caitlin Hansen 1st Team, Alexis Waugh 2nd Team, and Amanda Finch, Lauren Ross and Hannah Hartnett were all named Honorable Mention.
