Welcome to Roncalli High School Athletics

Letter from the director of athletics

Let me take this opportunity as the Director of Athletics at Roncalli High School to again welcome you to Roncalli Rebel athletics.

Our athletic team achievements thus far in the 2009-10 athletic year have been very notable. Significant program accomplishments thus far this year include:

Girls' Golf - #1 State Ranking, Marion County, Sectional Champions, Regional Champions, and Fourth Place State Finalists
Boys' Soccer - Sectional Champions
Boys' Tennis - Sectional Champions

As well, many of our fall sport athletes have been named to noted post season first team honor squads such as Indianapolis Star All Marion County, All State and Academic All State.

Our winter sports currently offered at Roncalli include Boys' & Girls' Basketball, Boys' & Girls' Bowling (club), Cheerleading, Gymnastics, Hockey (club), Boys' and Girls' Swimming, and Wrestling. In turn, Rebel spring sport activities include Baseball, Boys' Golf, Softball, Girls' Tennis, Boys' & Girls' Track, Boys' Lacrosse (club), Boys' Rugby (club) and Boys' Volleyball (club).

As we look forward to successful and rewarding winter and spring sport seasons; we at Roncalli want to invite each of you to continue your support for all Rebel squads by your enthusiastic attendance at many athletic events over the next several months. As always, we ask your cooperation in conducting yourself in a sportsmanlike manner at all times toward our opponents and the event officials. Please cheer for our Roncalli teams and student-athletes, not against the opponent! We believe that you will be energized and enthused in seeing our tremendous student-athletes perform on the court, mat, track or in the field. Please join us and have a wonderful time!
