2010 Season Preview
The Roncalli Baseball Program will be stacked with talent for the upcoming 2010 season. All three levels had winning records and showed great improvements throughout a rain shortened 2009 season.
The Varsity returns 8 players and 6 starters, including All Marion County Honorable Mention Selections: 1B-Charlie Kolisek .395, P/DH-Andrew Byrne .458, C-Alex Ritchie .381 and P-Nick Schwartz (5-2 1.91ERA). This nucleus along with OF Brandon Petree .434, and standout C-Ryan Parrott should push the Rebels to another winning season. The pitching staff will start with Schwartz and include Scott Hatfield (2-0), Alex Simpson (3-1) and Brad Bourne (1-1).
The focus of the 2010 season will be to build on previous years and look to secure a Marion County Championship and Sectional 26 Championship. With hard work and dedication, the team is determined to do what ever it takes to turn Roncalli Baseball into a top notch program.
