2010 Season Preview

The 2010 Softball team will be challenged early and often this season. The schedule includes 9 Indiana teams ranked in the preseason polls, including the following 2009 State Finalists: Lutheran (1A), Scecina (2A), New Palestine (3A State Champs) and Floyd Central (4A). Additionally, the varsity team will travel to Owensboro, KY and Louisville KY to face the 2009 Kentucky State Champions, Owensboro Catholic and the 2009 Kentucky State Runners-up, Louisville Mercy High School.

Returning starters include Senior Amy Oechsle, Juniors Trista Cox and Mel Keyler, and Sophomore Taylor Bogardus. Returning Varsity letter winners include: Hannah Patton, Lauren Ross, Mackenzie Reckley and Kristen Thomas. New additions to the 2010 Varsity include Senior Siobhan Gudat, Juniors Emily Whitsett and Andrea Rodriguez, Sophomores Meghan Wood and Allie Burkhardt, and Freshman Kendra Lynch.
