The Lady Rebels will be looking to continue their run of successful seasons. Leading the way for this year’s team will be returning varsity letter winners:

Sophomores: Kaylie Clodfelter Middle Distance Claire Lovell Long Jump and Sprints
The girls’ track and field team was victorious over Chatard, Ritter and Scecina in the Archdiocesan Meet. The 4x400 relay team of Ali Buckley, Gina Gough, Audrey Dubord and Hannah Hasty and the 4x800 team of Olivia Jahnke, Andrea Wolf, Cassie Schultheis and Haley Fenton finished 2nd. The 4x100 team of Hannah Hasty, Hannah Kern, Stacy Klene and Bailey Stenger finished first.
Hannah Hasty took 1st in the 300 hurdles, and Katie Maxwell took 2nd, both with Personal Records. Lily Watson led from start to finish in the 3200 m run and ran a 20 second PR. Hannah Kern was 2nd in the long jump followed by Lauren McCauley who finished 3rd. Gina Gough took 3rd in the 800 after a very strong, gutsy 1st lap. Maryann Kirkhoff won the pole vault with a 1-foot PR. Hannah Hasty was the winner again in the 100 hurdles, followed by Katie Maxwell in 2nd and Jacquelyn Dossey in 3rd Audrey Dubord took 3rd in the mile. Erin Bateman grabbed 2nd place in the discus, followed by Nicole Nesbitt who took 3rd. Kristin Lee won the shot put with a new PR, followed by Erin Bateman in 2nd. Angie Schott won the high jump while Kelsey Quack took 2nd.
The Lady Rebel Track and Field Team also had an outstanding night at the Sectional Meet, placing 3rd to defending state champion Warren Central and 11th ranked Franklin Central. The team advanced 15 girls in 10 events, while almost the entire team scored points or achieved their personal record.
Angie Schott was the Sectional Champion in the High Jump with a jump of '5 "
Junior Audrey Dubord qualified for the IHSAA 2009 State Track & Field Finals in the 800 meter run. Audrey finished 25th at the State Finals.
