2012 Season Recap

The 2012 Lady Rebel Tennis team finished the season with an outstanding 20-2 record.  Possibly the seasons greatest accomplishment was claiming the schools first ever Marion County Championship title in Girls' Tennis.  In addition to this great victory, the team also earned its sixth consecutive Sectional Championship, first place finishes for both Varsity and JV at the Franklin Community Invite, and a first place finish at Lawrence Central's Varsity Invitational.  Other notable wins came from defeating 12th ranked Park Tudor and 16th ranked Brebeuf Jesuit.  The season came to a heartbreaking end as the team lost 2-3 to Greenwood in the Regional Finals. The Lady Woodman claimed the only two losses the Rebels had this season.  The team wishes Seniors Laura McIntosh, Alex Servie, Lauren Sheets, and Macey Speer the best of luck as they move on to the next chapter of their lives.
