Welcome to the Roncalli Fine Arts Home

Dear FineArts Patrons,

Welcome! Thank you for coming and for supporting our kids and Roncalli High School. In these days of economic struggles for so many families, we especially appreciate your support.

This year marks the fourth year that we have this beautiful auditorium and fine arts classrooms. Our seniors have always taken classes and performed here. I want you all to know that I still say a prayer of thanks every time I enter the band room and this auditorium. I know that our kids are proud to perform here for you, even if they don’t remember having to set up the gym!

The Roncalli Fine Arts kids continue to achieve and make their marks in the world. Did you know that:

Roncalli has won the Prelude Collaboration category four times through the past seven years.
Our Show Choir has been named the Grand Champion the past two years at the Lawrence Central Show Choir Competition.
We currently have students majoring in music performance, music education, music technology and/or sound engineering at Butler, Ball State, Indiana University, Notre Dame, University of Indianapolis, and IUPUI.
Roncalli Band alums are in the marching bands, symphonic bands and jazz bands at Notre Dame, Ball State, Butler, Marian University, and the University of Dayton.
Upon graduation, our theatre and art students are studying visual communications, computer graphics, art education, theatre management and theatre design/technology at University of Evansville and Herron School of Art.

We salute these kids and are happy that they are sharing their talents. We are very blessed. Who knows? We may have the next Mozart, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Michael Buble, Picasso, or Kenny G right here in our midst.
