Activities

The Roncalli Media Center hosts many fun and exciting activities! See the information below for details.

Coffee House

Each quarter, the Roncalli Media Center hosts an event known as the Coffee House. Coffee Houses give students a place and time to perform and be creative. Students read poetry, play music, tell jokes, and even display artwork. To be involved, students need only to sign up beforehand, or wait for an "open mic." Though creativity is always applauded, students are reminded that material needs to be appropriate for the school setting. The Media Center provides Roncalli Cafeteria cookies and coffee or hot chocolate as refreshments during the coffee house. This event is free to all.

Video Productions

The Video Productions crew is a group of dedicated students who produce video projects for any number of purposes and functions. For more information, see the separate Video Productions page.

D'Scribes Writing Club

The D’ Scribes is the writing/book club of Roncalli High School. Our name is taken from the word describe, a verb with the meaning of to tell or write about. The moderator of the club is Ms. Anderson. Our meetings consist of sharing recent writings, recent book readings, and above all to have fun in each other’s company. We are always open to new members and are not closed to any one who attends, works at, or is in any other way involved at Roncalli High School.
