2010 Boys' Cross Country Coaching Staff

Frank Litz - Head Coach

Coach Frank Litz returns for his third season at the helm of both the boys' and girls' cross country programs. In 2009 he led the boys to a 16th place finish at the Carmel Semi-State and the girls to 17th place. This was the 7th consecutive year the boys advanced to Semi-State and the 3rd consecutive season for the girls. Prior to coaching at Roncalli, Litz coached at both the high school and collegiate levels in Pennsylvania and was the distance coach for the 1999 Pennsylvania Girls State Championship team. Coach Litz attended East Stroudsburg University where he competed in track and cross country while earning a master's degree in education. Coach is the father of two year old future Rebel, Anthony. Coach Litz teaches in the English department at Roncalli.

Abby Kramer - Assistant Coach

Abby Kramer is starting her second year as assistant cross country coach. She was a coach during the 2008 season and has also served as an assistant track coach. Abby taught Science at Roncalli from 2004-2009 before going back to nursing school at South Dakota State University. Abby is engaged and will marry Roncalli boys' basketball coach Michael Wantz on October 22nd of this year.

 

 

Thomas Hosty - Assistant Coach

Coach Hosty is currently a junior at Marian University where he is studying accounting and finance. Coach Hosty graduated from Roncalli in 2008 and ran cross country for 4 years as well as being a distance runner in track for 4 seasons. Coach Hosty is looking forward to helping the cross country team keep the tradition alive as an alumnus.
