Dear Roncalli Parents,

On behalf of the Roncalli Parents' Organization (RPO), we welcome you to the 2011-12 school year!

I am truly blessed and proud to belong to the Roncalli family.  In today's world, we parents need as much help as we can get in keeping our children safe.  Their safety is our peace of mind and our responsibility.  High school brings many new opportunities and challenges for our children and this is not a time for us to back off as parents.  This time also brings out many new opportunities for us as parents.

Volunteering is a wonderful way to bring people together, both children and adults.  The RPO sponsors many events throughout the year where the proceeds go back into programs that allow your children to experience and express their faith throughout their four years at Roncalli.  We ask for your support as a volunteer and a participant.  Your involvement as an active parent will enhance your and your child's experience as a Rebel!

The RPO Committee is made up of parents that represent the parishes feeding into Roncall.   We meet monthly with RHS President Chuck Weisenbach at which time there is always a positive healthy discussion of the many issues that are pertinent to our children's experiences at Roncalli.  One of our primary goals is to be the voice of the parents to the administration.  Please contact any one of the representatives listed above if you ever have a question or concern about an issue going on at Roncalli.

To provide you with another tool to help you with an appropriate level of monitoring, the RPO distributes this Parent-Student Directory and Rebel Handbook (handbook available on-line) each year.  We encourage all Rebel parents to make use of this directory.  Do not hesitate to use this directory to contact other parents in order to ensure our children's safety.
