Academic Summer Camps
Psychology Camp (Room 204)
- Why can we not taste much when we have a cold?
- What's the best way to learn those vocabulary words your English teacher assigns?
- Why do we conform to what others expect us to do?
- Does meditation lower stress levels?
- Is "fake it until you make it”true?
Attend this summer's psychology camp to learn the answers to these questions and more! Students will learn about their senses and how the brain perceives the world around us, how memory works and how to improve it, why we conform and why it's hard to disobey authority, and how to handle stress. Lessons will include videos and hands-on experiences.
