Dear Fine Arts Community,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! It is my pleasure to welcome both returning and new members of our Fine Arts family. I am honored to begin my twenty-ninth year as Director of Theatre Education and my fifth year as Chair of the Fine Arts Department at Roncalli High School. I look forward to partnering with our students, families, faculty and community as we continue to provide meaningful and inspiring arts experiences.

One of the core values of our department is the belief that hard work, commitment and perseverance are more important than natural talent alone. While talent may provide a starting point, it is dedication, consistent practice, and a willingness to learn that lead to lasting success. With encouragement from teachers, parents and peers, every student has the opportunity to grow into a confident performer, artist, musician, technician or leader. Together, we can build on one another’s strengths and foster a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

The year ahead promises to be filled with exciting opportunities for our students. Whether performing on stage, singing in a choir, playing in a band, creating visual art or working behind the scenes in technical theatre, every student has a place to belong and thrive. From our fall musical and spring play to concerts, art exhibitions, competitions and countless other performances throughout the year, the Fine Arts Department will continue to celebrate creativity, collaboration and excellence.

Thank you for your continued support of the Fine Arts at Roncalli High School. Your encouragement, generosity and enthusiasm make it possible for our students to pursue their passions and create experiences that will last a lifetime. We are grateful to have you as part of our Fine Arts community, and we look forward to sharing another incredible year with you.
