2017 Girls Cross Country Coaching Staff
Frank Litz - Head Coach
Frank Litz enters his 20th season coaching cross country and his 10th as the head coach of the Lady Rebels. Prior to coaching at Roncalli, Litz was the head coach at Harry S. Truman High School, as well as an assistant at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. In high school, Litz competed for Bishop Egan in the Philadelphia Catholic League and later ran collegiately for East Stroudsburg University, where he received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education. Over the last seven seasons at Roncalli, Litz has coached 13 athletes on the program’s all-time top 20 list and twice during this time period the program has had more athletes recognized as Academic All-State than any other team. Personally, Litz continues to compete in endurance events and he has completed several marathons, half marathons, sprint, Olympic distance, Half Ironman and Ironman triathlons.
Jenny Carroll - Assistant Coach
This is Carroll's first year working with the Lady Rebels cross country team. A native of Chicago, she was a four-year member of the volleyball team, basketball team and track and field teams at Gordon Tech High School. In track and field, she competed in the jumps, 400m and 800m events. She earned her bachelor's degree from Purdue University and teaches in the science department at Roncalli. Carroll is also on the Lady Rebel basketball staff.
