2017 Girls Golf Team

2017 Season Review

A veteran girls golf team capitalized on multiple years of varsity experience to put together the program’s best winning percentage in four seasons. They met its goal of advancing to regional by finishing second in a strong sectional field. The team returned to the regional after missing out in 2016. The team was consistently in the upper tier of the field in the larger events, including a third-place finish in the Marion County Championships and second-place finishes in the All-Catholic and Circle City Conference events. Senior Annie Sullivan, who earned all-conference honors for the second straight year, was named the team’s MVP and senior Sophia Egold won the team’s mental attitude award.
