Missy (Abbott) Marsh - Head Coach

Coach Missy MarshThis season will mark the 10th season at the helm of the Roncalli volleyball program and the 16th season as a head coach for Missy Marsh. Marsh's teams at Roncalli have won one Marion County title, two sectional titles, one regional championship and one Circle City Conference title in 2016. Marsh was named ICGSA Class 4A South Coach of the Year in 2014. She is a 1993 graduate of Roncalli where she was a three-sport athlete lettering in volleyball, basketball and track. After attending Roncalli, she was awarded a volleyball scholarship to Morehead State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education in 1997. She received her master’s degree in language arts from the University of South Florida in 2002.

Coach Marsh started her coaching career at Lake Gibson High School in Lakeland, Florida, where she served as an assistant coach in 2000 and 2001. Lake Gibson was district champions in both seasons. She also served as a club coach in the Lakeland Juniors Volleyball Club. Beginning in 2002, Marsh took over the volleyball program at Boyd County High School in Ashland, Kentucky, beginning an unprecedented run for the school’s program. During her two years as the coach at Boyd County, she notched a record of 43-15, including a regional championship and an appearance in the Kentucky Sweet Sixteen in 2003. She was twice named Coach of the Year by the Ashland Daily Independent. From 2004 to 2007, Marsh was the head coach at Perry Meridian High School, where she amassed a four-year record of 72-51. Her work with the Falcon program culminated with a sectional championship in 2007.

As a Roncalli player, Missy was first team All-State and an Indiana All-Star in 1992. She was All-City four times (’89, ’90, ’91, and ’92), All-County two times (’91 and ’92) and finished second in the 400 meter dash at the 1993 state track meet. Also in 1993, she was named Indianapolis Star City Athlete of the Year and MCCGSA Marion County Athlete of the Year. At Morehead State, she was a three-time All-Ohio Valley Conference performer (1994 through 1996) and made the OVC All-Tournament Team in 1993 and 1996. She left the school as the all-time leader in games played and second all-time in kills and total attacks. As a student-athlete, she was a four-time member of the OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll and her MSU team led Division I in team GPA in 1993 and 1994. She was inducted into the Morehead State Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010.

Missy is an ENL teacher at Central Catholic Elementary School and a member of St. Roch Parish, which she attended while growing up on the South Side. She and her husband Scott, Roncalli’s head football coach, are the parents of Luke (age 13), Kennedy (age 12), Callaway (age 10), and Kellen (age 6).

Kaylee Danhauer - Varsity Assistant

Coach Kaylee DanhauerDanhauer, in her sixth season of coaching, is a 2008 graduate of Roncalli High School where she played volleyball and was a three-year varsity cheerleader. As a member of the Roncalli volleyball team from 2004-2008 Kaylee earned four varsity letters playing for her mother, Kathy Nalley-Schembra. She was a two-time 3A All-State First Team selection and helped guide the Rebels to the 2006 Class 3A State Championship as the team's libero. Danhauer holds the school-record in digs for a single season and a career. She was a two-time Indianapolis Star All-Marion County Team selection, 3A All-Star South Team as a senior and helped the Rebels surpass the 900-win mark, making it the second-winningest program in the state of Indiana.

She graduated in 2012 from Ball State University with a degree in elementary education and a concentration in kindergarten. While at Ball State, she had 914 career digs in four years. Her sophomore year she was named the Most Improved Player and the Best Defensive Player on the team. She helped lead the Cardinals to a 2010 MAC Championship and a 2011 NCAA bid. Her 39 career matches with double-digit digs ranks 18th in program history. Her three career matches with 20-or-more digs are 14th in BSU history.

Danhauer is currently teaching second grade at St. Jude School and enjoys spending time with all her nieces and nephews. She is married to Ryan Danhauer (R'08) and they have two dogs, Champ and Chip.

Angie (Wilson) Schnell - Varsity Assistant and JV Coach

Angie is a 1990 graduate of Roncalli and is in her ninth season as an assistant coach. She played on undefeated Rebel teams in 1986 and 1987 and was named All-City (’88 and ’89), All-Metro (’89), and All-State (’89). After graduation, she went on to play at Kankakee Community College, where she was an All-American in 1991, and Northeastern Illinois University. Coach Schnell began her coaching career as an assistant at Martinsville High School, where they were state runners-up in 1994 and 1995.

Angie works for the T.L. Care Corporation. She and her husband, Jay, have 3 children: Aaron (age 20), Bailey (age 19), and Nicholas (age 17). They are members of St. Roch Parish.

Jenna Beckham - JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant

Jenna BeckhamBeckham is a 2003 graduate of Beech Grove High School, where she was a three-sport athlete in volleyball, basketball and softball. In 2002, she was All-Conference and All-County. Coach Beckham went on to graduate from the University of Indianapolis with a degree in elementary education. This is her 14th year in coaching. She was an assistant coach at Perry Meridian High School in 2007 and is in her 10th year as an assistant coach at Roncalli. She and her husband, Anthony, have three sons, Carter (5), Marshall (3) and Harrison (1).

Christina Erazmus - JV Assistant and Varsity Assistant

Christina (Dawson) Erazmus is a 2001 Roncalli graduate where she played on the 1998 state championship team. This season marks her 12th year in coaching and her first back at her alma mater. The Ball State graduate spent 2010 through 2016 as an assistant coach at Brownsburg High School, where she helped the Bulldogs win four county championships and three conference championships. Christina teaches physical education at Brownsburg East and West Middle Schools. She and her husband, Chris (R’01), have two children, Holland (3) and Dawson (1).

Courtney Halter - Freshman Head Coach

Courtney Halter is a 2012 graduate of Roncalli. While at RHS, Courtney was a three-year starter and team MVP as a senior. She also was a four-year basketball player and won the school Mental Attitude Award as a senior. Coach Halter then went on to continue her career in volleyball at IUPUI and was the Jaguars’ Mental Attitude Award winner as well as a senior.

This will be her second year coaching at Roncalli, but she has coached at Team Indiana for four years. She teaches 4th grade in the IPS school system.
