Beginning Mixed Chorus

Beginning Mixed Chorus is a non-audition group consisting of all grades at Roncalli. It provides a base for first year singers to learn the fundamentals of choral singing. It also gives students who want to sing but don't have a lot of time to commit to a select ensemble the opportunity to sing. They also compete in the ISSMA Large Group Choral Festival


Intermediate Mixed Chorus

Intermediate Mixed Chorus

Intermediate Mixed Chorus is Roncalli's newest choir. It is an auditioned group that is a shorter time commitment than advanced choirs, but still provides the opportunity to sing quality music and improve on music theory and sight reading skills. Intermediate Mixed Chorus performs in the four major concerts held at Roncalli throughout the school year.


Beginning Women's Chorus

Beginning Women's Chorus

Beginning Women's Chorus is a non-audition group consisting of young ladies in all grades at Roncalli. It provides a base for first year singers to learn the fundamentals of choral singing. It also gives girls who want to sing but don't have a lot of time to commit to a select ensemble the opportunity to sing. They also compete in the ISSMA Large Group Choral Festival.


Advanced Women's Chorus

Advanced Women's Chorus

Advanced Women's Chorus is one of two advanced level choirs. It is an auditioned group that sings higher caliber music and dives deeper into music theory and sight singing than beginning choirs. These girls sing at one concert per quarter, in addition to performing at the ISSMA solo ensemble contest and the ISSMA organizational contest. They also sing at special events throughout the year.


Royal Rhapsody

Royal Rhapsody Show Choir

Royal Rhapsody is one of two advanced-level choirs. It is an auditioned group that sings higher caliber music and dives deeper into music theory and sight singing than beginning choirs. This group sings at one concert per quarter, in addition to performing at the ISSMA organizational contest, and at special events throughout the year. Show choir also involves a heavy rehearsal schedule and competitions during the "show choir season" in winter.
