2022 Girls Lacrosse Season Review

The girls lacrosse team, in its fourth full season as a varsity program, finished with a 3-12 record. The team dealt with much adversity through the season, including some early losses and a midseason coaching change, but finished the regular season in strong fashion, winning its final two contests. They followed that up with the first postseason win in program history, topping Lawrence North 16-13 in the opening round of the sectional.

Senior goalkeeper Lylián Imán earned the team’s MVP award, while senior Claira Brizendine won the team’s mental attitude award. Senior Claire Pittman led the team in scoring with 22 goals. She had two five-goal games and scored multiple goals in seven games. Senior Natalie Mullin finished second on the team with eight goals and Claira Brizendine ranked third on the team with six goals.
